That is 2018 Nate Robinson going up for a thunderous dunk against Mt. Eden earlier in the New Year. Moments before though, on the defensive end, Robert Prince (2018) glassed a layup on the other end making the Las Lomas 6th Man ERRUPT!! Check out the video below:

Robert Prince, Class of 2018

We have been following Las Lomas pretty closely this year. Coached by Brian Dietschy, the Knights are having themselves a perfect season so far. At the point guard is veteran Robert Prince, one of the top unsigned seniors in the region. His strengths have been slashing around any and every defender, finding the open man, and as you saw in the video above, tenacious hustle on defense who leaves it on the floor every night. He is also one of few point guards with the confidence and ability to create his own shot off the dribble. Quick feet, nice form, he will be a great addition to a Division 1 program.

At the two position, Nathan Robinson, the transfer from Sacred Heart Cathedral. Nate is one of the elite scoreres in Nor Cal. He has consistently shown the ability to knock down the three, midrange, and attack the rim strong. He is great at relocating and finding the open spot. A high flyer with professional background, this summer he played overseas in Great Britain. When asked what that did for his game, Robinson replied “I think it helped lengthen my shooting range and gave me a better understanding for the lines and angles on the floor.” If you’ve watched him play this year, it is evident he is a threat with experience a lot of high school players just don’t have. All this talk about Lithuania and the Ball brothers, who were recently held scoreless in their league debut by the way, Robinson has been there, done that! He is now finishing his senior season on a high note, in his hometown, with the guys he grew up playing with. That is special!

Robinson also brings a defensive intensity to the Knights. An unsigned senior, his performance will have a major impact on the outcome of Monday’s match against SPSV at St. Mary’s College. Check out a short mixtape of Prince and Robinson below against Menlo in the Amador Tournament December 2017.

Las Lomas also has senior combo guard, 2018 Devin Payne. Payne is a 6’2 beast on the floor and can finish at the rim with the best of them. He as well is a college prospect who has not signed. Jason Holman (2018) might be one of the purest three point shooters in the area. We’ve seen him NET back to back to back shots for the Knights numerous times this season. That will be put to the test on Monday as well. Be sure to follow us for more from the game by subscribing to our Youtube Page!! Follow us on Twitter  and on Instagram or even Facebook!! #CaliHoop
