The Pangos Sweet 16 hosted some of the top High School talent on the West Coast at the MAPS and Cerritos College last weekend. Riley Grigsby dominated each of the 3 games we covered for West Valley Basketball Club (San Jose). This is no surprise to anyone recruiting Grigsby – as he helped a young Mitty Monarch team to the CCS Open Division Championship stunning Bellarmine during the 2016-2017 season. Riley also dominated WCAL match-ups against teams like St. Ignatius late in the game to show the ability to carry his team. “The hardest team I faced my junior year was Sheldon” says Grigsby, “because of their athleticism and skill set”. Riley is picking up Division 1 and 2 interest from local Bay Area schools this summer. “I just want to show people what I got, help a team win”. Riley averaged 21 Points and 9 Rebounds during our 3 game coverage at the Pangos Sweet 16. He showcased the highest motor on the court at all times – consistency from beyond the arch, and flashy spin moves to the basket with difficult finishes.

Check out his highlights from Pangos Sweet 16 below:

Riley Comapres his game to Kawhi Leonard and his favorite player in the NBA is Kevin Durant.

Career High: 30 Points
