There is no question Jalen Green is set to be – or already is the next big High School hooper out of California – Fresno to be exact. San Joaquin Memorial High School is known to graduate NBA level talent in recent years like Robert Upshaw + The Lopez Twins.

What is it about the 6’6 wing that has everyone chit chattin? It’s not that he is ridiculously talented or athletic – nor is it how high he wears his shorts (swag?) – It’s definitely not his ability to pass, shoot, and dunk the ball better than most upperclassmen (as a freshman) – It’s his overall approach to the game which has him in ESPN’s #2 spot Nationally for the 2020 class. Jalen possesses a rhythm that most players work years to develop…some players just got it..he’s one of them.

Despite falling short en route to a CIF State Championship during the 2016-2017 season, the rising sophomore is attacking the summer and showing out…like “one handed Vince Carter alley oops in the half court set” showing out:

Green stated “I just want make a statement…work for it” in an interview with CaliHoop after the West Coast Super Showcase last fall at Clovis East High School. Green was a part of the USA U16 National team who recently went 5-0 at the FIBA America’s Championship bringing home a Gold Medal, in addition qualified for 2018 FIBA 17U World Cup. Jalen also recently dominated the Nike Elite 100 Camp in St. Louis. Green currently holds offers from UNLV, Florida State, Fresno State, San Diego State, USC and Arizona to name a few.
